Description:
One of the main responsibilities of the municipality is to provide basic services (such as drinking water, waste management facilities and basic healthcare services) to all people to improve the living conditions. The major outcome of this course is to teach participants tools and techniques that can be applied to ensure the basic service delivery to poor people in addition to transparent management of related financial services.
Objectives:
- Shed more light on the fundamental environment to deliver a good local service
- Understand the effect of enhanced service delivery on the achievements of SDGs (sustainable development goals)
- Connect local development plans with public financial management and results-based management
- Explain the role of the municipality in creating conditions and continue its supervisory role
